By accessing or using Poor Fantasy League ("PFL", "the website", "the service") at fantasy.kars.work, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

1. Nature of the Service

Poor Fantasy League is a free, non-commercial hobby project created and maintained for private entertainment purposes. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any professional sports organisation, league, or broadcaster. Participation is free of charge and no real-money gambling or wagering of any kind takes place on this platform.

2. Eligibility

The service is intended for personal use by invited participants only. By registering, you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years of age.
• You have been personally invited to participate.
• You will use the service solely for its intended recreational purpose.
• You have read and agreed to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

The minimum age of 16 reflects the age of digital consent under Art. 8 GDPR as applied in Germany.

3. User Accounts

Registration
Access to predictions and league features requires a registered account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Email address
A valid email address is required during registration and is used solely for account security (PIN recovery). You must provide an email address that you own and have access to. You may also provide your email address after registration via the account prompt. Your email address will never be used for marketing communications.

Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate information during registration, including a valid email address. Impersonation of other participants or use of offensive usernames is not permitted.

Account termination
The administrator reserves the right to suspend or delete any account at any time, without prior notice, if these terms are violated or if misuse is suspected.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate scores, results, or the leaderboard by any technical or other means.
• Access or attempt to access another participant's account without authorisation.
• Submit automated predictions or use bots, scripts, or other non-human means to interact with the service.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the normal operation of the service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the platform.

5. Predictions and Scoring

All predictions are for entertainment purposes only. Points, rankings, and leaderboard positions carry no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for prizes, cash, or any other benefit. The administrator may correct scoring errors at any time at their sole discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

The software, design, and original content of this website are the intellectual property of Debasis Kar and are protected by applicable copyright law. Sports club logos, team names, and other third-party marks displayed on this site remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes under nominative fair use. 7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The operator does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that match data and results will always be accurate or up to date. Match data is sourced from third-party APIs and may occasionally differ from official sources.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. As a non-commercial hobby project, no compensation of any kind is offered or implied.

The website may contain links to external third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. The operator has no control over the content of those sites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
